Teeth Whitening

A great smile is an asset, Tooth Whitening is a fast and easy way to enhance stained or dull teeth, taking years off your age and giving you confidence you never thought possible.

Teeth can become discoloured for a number of reasons. Everyday activities, such as your dietary and social habits, can have a significant affect on the colour of your teeth. Caffeine, soft drinks, red wine, tea, tobacco and antibiotics; will all cause tooth discolouration. A Tooth Whitening treatment can reverse the effects of aging and discolouration; helping you achieve a dazzling, natural smile.

Veneers

Porcelain veneers are extremely thin casings of ceramic that are bonded to the front of the patients’ tooth to create a new smile. Porcelain veneers are placed over the front of teeth that appear too small or large, slightly discolored, or simply are not cosmetically pleasing to the patient. For many patients, teeth may have chipped, become discolored, or are slightly crooked. For the majority of these patients, porcelain veneers can prove to be the perfect solution.

When placing porcelain veneers, we pay close attention to the patients surrounding teeth and design each veneer to complement the overall smile. The result is a beautiful, attractive new smile.
If cared for properly, your veneers will last you a long time. We ensure that your new veneers are constructed of the most durable porcelain materials available.

Bonding

Teeth bonding is applied directly to the tooth and cured to its final hardness, usually with a light. In order to help the composite bond to the tooth, the tooth is prepared by lightly roughening the area to be repaired, which usually doesnt require anesthetic. Then the surface of the tooth is etched, a thin, clear bonding agent is applied, and then the composite is applied. Dental composites are made of acrylic resins impregnated with inorganic fillers, as mentioned above. They are made to a paste-like consistency so that they can be sculpted to the proper shape. They contain different pigments that can be matched to your tooth color, and they also come in varying degrees of translucency and are usually made so that they can be polished to a high gloss. This composite is applied to your tooth. Often several layers of different shades and translucencys need to be used in order to duplicate the depth of color and the color gradations that occur in natural teeth.
